Great spot for a beach getaway! Highly recommend staying here whether you’re planning a romantic escape or a chill family vacation. The house is just a short walk to the beach, and the layout is awesome. The primary suite is huge and even has a hot tub, which was a nice surprise. The open kitchen made it easy to cook and hang out at the same time, and the rooftop deck is the real standout—amazing views and the perfect place to unwind. Only thing that would’ve made it better? A fire pit up there, since the nights can get a little chilly. All in all, this place was a great find. Oxnard has some hidden gems—don’t miss Pepe’s Mexican Food. I’m still thinking about that surf and turf burrito. We’ll definitely be back. Huge thanks to the host for creating a coastal retreat without the chaos of LA traffic!

Matthew is indeed a super host. We had a last minute idea to book and he worked with our timeline beautifully with his responsiveness. The house is wonderful in a great area. I highly recommend his home for a beach getaway.

We had a great stay at Oxnard at Matthew's place. It was clean and as described, with all the amenities for a great beach vacation. There were a lot of good food options closeby and the local neighborhood had a laid back, beachy vibe. The house had literally everything we need and more to spend the day at the beach ( but we couldnt get time to do all of it ) The best part was catching the sunset off the beach ( spectacular ) and a day trip to Channel Islands where we had a blast with the kids. Matthew is a thoughtful host and was very helpful during the stay. We had a small glitch with the internet during the stay - and Matthew was very responsive and helped us thru the problem.

I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, and I have to say—the Eichler Estate is, by far, one of my absolute favorites. Matthew provided a true 5-star experience for me and my family from start to finish. He was incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. The Eichler Estate is a gorgeous home built in the 1960s, showcasing classic mid-century modern design. Most importantly, it's the perfect place to create lasting memories. The layout has amazing feng shui and an open-concept floor plan that allows you to hold a conversation from the kitchen to across the room—while still keeping an eye on the kiddos. The central atrium is a beautiful spot to enjoy brunch on a warm, sunny day, and it even has an umbrella to provide shade when needed. The backyard is thoughtfully landscaped with palm trees and bamboo, along with fresh vegetables and herbs growing throughout. It truly feels like a private oasis between the pool and jacuzzi. I think we’ve found our new home away from home

I really enjoyed my stay here. Some of the things that make this place top on my list, each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Each floor has a bedroom and it's not easy to hear commotion from a different floor which was a plus for us since my daughter took her babies and the rest of us were not awakened by crying. The third floor has a bedroom and bathroom that is very spacious and beautiful. The place was extremely clean, beds were comfortable. I am a germophobe and felt comfortable enough to cook here, which I rarely do. Furniture seems brand new and well taken care of. There is a driveway with parking for two cars. Matthew responded in a timely manner to my questions. It was a very nice and comfortable stay!

Excellent accommodations for up to 7 guests with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Master suite and bath are huge and very comfortable. Rooftop deck and sitting area is great to unwind and relax. Kitchen is beautifully remodeled. Lots of things to do and great restaurants in Oxnard, Ventura, Ojai and Santa Barbara. Highly recommended!

This place was an excellent place for what we needed. Had plenty of space and genuinely made you feel at home. The rooftop seating area was the main reason I chose this place and it did not disappoint. And Matthew was an excellent host. He responded quickly and gave clear instructions. Would happy come back

We had a very relaxed stay at Matthew’s beautifully appointed place during Christmas. We really enjoyed the quiet and charming neighborhood with easy access to the beach. The 3 bedrooms with their attached full bath on different floors gave everyone privacy and convenience. The open family/kitchen/dining space was ideal for hanging out. Everything was as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had to stay here three months while our house was being worked on, Matthew was very helpful and always available to talk. The house was perfect, just as advertised and super clean. Anything we needed was available, and everything worked perfectly inside. The check in and out process was easy, and the location was quiet and close to many stores. It felt like home to us right away, I would definitely recommend this listing to anyone needing a place to stay short or long term.
